Mandala workshops- will travel

12592185_10205729287131444_6008203584125989917_nI have been drawing mandalas for 20 years as a way to help myself deal with stress and to open myself up to creative exploration. I believe in the healing power of mandalas as a tool for quieting the mind and finding balance for our physical, emotional and spiritual selves. I also want to share this with my local community as much as I can to help others find a tool that can add a sense of peace and stability to their lives.

This is not a workshop just for “artists”. This is a workshop for EVERYONE! It’s not about the final product, it is about the journey of creating and the practice of letting go and listening to your inner voice. Most people who have attended my workshops, either in my home studio or at retreats, have been surprised by the outcome of their own personal mandala work. It is a powerful and beautiful experience to see the beauty of your own self reflected back at you in your mandala.

I hold regular workshops every month in my studio. I am also seeking opportunities to come and share this experience with groups throughout my community.

Regular workshops in my home studio are $30 per person, with drop in nights the first Sunday of the month for $10 to just cover supplies.

Group sessions are offered at a reduced rate:

6-15 people = $25 per person

16-25 people = $20 per person

26+ = $15 per person

$8 per person for non-profit organizations.

All supplies are included. Contact me to come to your event: | 425-343-8752

Glass Mosaic Candle Votives & Wind Chimes

March 13th, 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Lighting a candle is a wonderful way to add a sense of beauty and peace to your surroundings. That little light can be a reminder to relax and can bring a sense of calm to the worried heart or mind.

We will do this using recycled clear glass bottles that you will learn how to cut! One half makes a nice votive, the other half a garden wind chime. Plus lots of fun bits of stained glass to make them pretty.

Join in a day of creating a special glass mosaic candle votive you can cherish & you get to create a glass wind chime too! All supplies provided. Sunday, March 13th, 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. or until done. If it is nice out, we have wooded trails you can walk and enjoy as well during your break while the glue dries. Snacks and teas provided.

$55 (plus 10% off scarves, totes or cards in the studio for taking a workshop) *scholarships available

Mandalas for Teens

I have had mostly adult women attending my mandala workshops. But my wonderful daughter has also participated in these activities and the quiet meditative time has been great for her. She created these two beautiful mandalas last night during our mandala drop in night. The teen years are difficult and crazy, so it’s great to have an activity where they too can find a sense of beauty, balance and accomplishment. I encourage teens to attend my workshops too!
